LMX - Little Mix Makeup Brand Review Part 1 Shout out to my Pout

Hello my lovelies,

I was so intrigued when I saw that there was a new makeup collection exclusive to Boots. LMX is a brand brought to us by Little Mix band members. They have everything from eyeshadows to highlighters.

I purchased a couple of box sets from the Boots 3 for 2 range. Sadly one item came broken. I was gutted but Ho hum, I moved on and just reviewed the rest of the products on their own. I will continue my reviews of the brand as soon as I get my replacement.

So my two items I have thoroughly tested are the Shout out to my Pout Liquid Lipstick and Liner collection (rrp £18) and the Rock in the Gold Get the Look Palette (£14).

Lets start with the lip products, get the negative out of the way early. I purchased this kit of 4 lip liners and liquid lipsticks. I chose this specifically because it was nude tones and I thought well at least one will suit me, how wrong was I. I found them so orange toned, none of them suited my skin tone I was so dissapointed. They tout this as a nude collection but none of these colours are nude. Even the dark colour which I am assuming they were trying to be inclusive of darker skin tones, but this colour would only suit a very dark skin tone and still I don't think it would look nude.

The lipliners themselves I cannot fault. They are creamy and glide on easily. They lasted hours, even when I tested them on their own using them to fill in my lips fully. For me the lipliners were the winner of this purchase.

The lipsticks however were not enjoyed as much. Apart from Perfect Pout they dried quick enough and had good coverage. I felt the formula was too drying. I could see every line and crack in my lips and the more I talked the more the product cracked on my lips. After around an hour I had product gathering in the corners of my mouth. I felt very aware that I had product on my lips and it was not a comfortable feeling.

Unfortunately for my first purchase from this brand it was not a positive review. Let me know if you have tried their products and how you got on with them.

Thank you so much for stopping by check back next week to see my thoughts on the Rock n Gold Palette.

Love and hugs,

Lyndsey

Aliza Naturals 3 in 1 Cleansing Paper Review

Hello my lovelies,
I hope this post finds you well. As you know I am very in to my skincare and I am always trying new products to share with you all. A while back I was contacted by Aliza Naturals, a brand that I have to be honest and say I had never heard of. They told me all about a new product they had launched and wanted to know if I would be interested in trying it out and sharing my thoughts on it. After checking out their website and seeing that they were an all natural brand I was very intrigued. So after a little back and forward and me advising them that I am always 100% honest in my videos/blog posts and that as long as they were confident in their product we could of course work together.

After a few days my package arrived and I was excited to see what this innovative product looked like. I had never seen a product like this and was very intrigued by the idea of a cleansing paper. I considered all of those people going on holidays or short trips and taking only hand lugg…

Lytmeup Dimmable Ring Light Review

Hello my lovelies,

I hope you are all well. At christmas I decided it was time to start changing up my lighting at the salon and so I started to search for reasonably priced lights and while on instagram I kept getting sponsored posts for a ring light from Lytmeup, a brand I had never heard of.

They were showing as £39 reduced from £89. I am always skeptical about these things, selling for less than half price. What are the chances that this offer is not going to end soon and is in actual fact a long term price. I thought, why not, lets give this brand a shot. So I made my purchase. I was then told that it could take up to a month to get delivered. That was disappointing, but I had already committed to it and had no choice but to wait.

Around the end of January I picked up a parcel from the sorting office, it was very slim line and compact. I was pleased about that. I detest getting deliveries with a lot of extra packaging for no reason.

I was so excited to open the parcel and see wha…
